Dear “UI Customer Service Unit”, kudos on the vintage styling and purposefully ironic and use of comic sans. What? Not on purpose?
Dear Delta Airlines,
Errrr…Uhm…What the heck?
If this is a new rev management feature, I’m not a fan.
Saturday afternoon team meeting. Yes, I do drink Miller High Life Light. Delicious and priced to fit our entrepreneurial-minded budget.
First Post!
How does one really write the first blog post for something as odd and unique as a mid-life plunge into entrepreneurship? I suppose I’ll start with what I believe and hope will be the last line of our story when written years from now.
And they lived happily ever after.
They, in this case, refers to everyone that may be involved in the journey ahead — cofounders, employees, advisors, and, of course, our families.
Please don’t misinterpret the phrase “happily ever after” as overconfidence, arrogance or naiveté. I recognize that success is far from certain. The point, I suppose, is that success and happiness are two entirely different concepts (though, I suspect there is a positive correlation).
In the uncertainty ahead, we will revel in learning, thinking and doing. Win, lose or draw the experience gained will, with the benefit of hindsight and a touch of psychological rationalization, put us in a place to live happily ever after.
I am so excited.
